We are a small hotel, and we run it ourselves. That means the person who checks you in at two in the morning is the same person who will book your boat at dawn and tell you which lane to take to the ghat.
The paintings on our walls are not prints. We commissioned artists from the city to paint Varanasi for us, so the building has some of the place in it before you even step outside.
Rooms come with a mini refrigerator, a tea and coffee maker, and a smart TV signed in to whatever you already watch. Hot water runs at any hour, because pilgrims keep strange hours.

How far is the hotel from Kashi Vishwanath Temple?
About 3 km, which is usually under ten minutes by car. Dashashwamedh Ghat is the same distance. We can drive you to both and collect you afterwards.
Can I walk to the ghats, or should I take a car?
Most guests take our car or a rickshaw. The lanes around the temple are too narrow for cars, and the Dashashwamedh area closes to vehicles through the day, so we drop you at the edge and you walk the last stretch.
Why stay here instead of inside the old city?
In the old city you carry your own luggage through the lanes, sometimes for a few hundred metres, and there is nowhere to park. Here the car reaches the front door, there is parking for over fifty vehicles, and the street is quiet enough to sleep on.
Is the hotel good for families?
Yes. It matters most if you are travelling with children, elderly parents or a lot of luggage, because nobody has to drag a suitcase through a crowded lane. Rooms take two adults, and the kitchen will cook plainly for children on request.
Is it a good place for couples?
It is quiet at night, which the old city is not. Couples usually book the King or Deluxe room, and ask us to arrange a boat at dawn or a car for the evening aarti.
Is it comfortable for foreign travellers?
Our staff speak English, the desk is open around the clock, and we collect you from the airport or the railway station so you arrive safely without negotiating a fare on the street. Sightseeing uses our own cars and licensed guides. Guests from the United States, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Japan and Hong Kong have reviewed us publicly under their own names.
